I literally love it. I like the way the inside is built. It has plenty of room in it.
awesome product.... every shop needs one
Great for wrenches but nothing else.
I've been using this toolbox for a while. It is a solid built box. When I bought it my focus was on a better system for storing my combination wrenches. And for that this system has been great. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the socket storage and that is unfortunate. I find that whole system to be a mess. Larger 1/2" deep and regular sockets become a jammed up mess. Smaller drive sockets on the long pegs are a pain to access. Walking up to the chest it isn't obvious which socket is the size I need. Also the cordless tool storage is a crammed up mess. I've been trying to get used to this box but I think I'm going to end up selling it because I just find it to be a headache. I give it 5 stars for solid construction but as it ended up being something I hate having in my shop I can only give it 2 stars for actually usefulness.
Can you send me a gas shock that can help support the lid by an additional 10 lbs. Thanks
Great for the Shop!
I have been wanting a Montezuma Triangle Box for my shop for some time, but wasnt sure if a regular one, (that is intended for a work truck) was feasible. When I saw they were coming out with an indoor box specifically for the shop, I couldnt wait. I watched the website for several months and when it was available, I think it was like the first one to order it! When it came, it was beautifully packed and there was no damage to the box. The interior is very sturdy and the internal pistons are very robust. I am still in the process of loading my tools in there, but so far, it makes my tools very accessible and easy to find. Very well constructed and solid, even for a shop model that is intended for indoor use. It is the centerpiece of my shop! PRO TIP -> The sticker across the front of lid has some very aggressive adhesive. I spent over an hour trying to remove the sticker. In my frustration and haste, I got some goof off thinking it was safe, but it removed the sticker AND the stenciled logo across the front. And of course I tried some plain windex, and once you let it sit for a while.... The adhesive comes off. I assume its water soluble? Let my mess up be your learning experience!!
